Xbox 360 Hd-dvd Drive Problem

Hello, This Is My First Time Posting On Any Forum So Be Patient. I Am Trying To Find Fixes For My Sons Hd-dvd Drive Not Reading Discs. I Have Worked In The Pc Business For Years And Am A+ Certified So I Know How To Clean The Drive. Is There A Special Way To Clean These Drives Or Is It Something Else?

I wish I could help you out. I do alot of work with the 360's but never messed around with the HD-drives. I hope someone can help you out, and while I am here.......WELCOME TO GAMEAPEX!

My best advice to you would be to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX. More then likely the HD-DVD drive is still under warranty.

And this is the HD-DVD addon or the DVD drive on the 360 itself?
