| Here we go, this is my first tutorial so bear with me... Disclaimer... I'm only providing information on a fix that worked for me. It may not work for you, and I'm not responsible for anything that goes wrong for YOU... Step 1. Remove guitar neck from body. If you don't know how to do this, this might not be something you want to attempt. Step 2. Get your TORX bits out, I think it's number 8, Take out all the screws on the back of the neck, except the one for the neck strap. Step 3. Seperate the halves, all the electronics are on the side with the buttons. Step 4. The PCB where the neck joins the guitar. We are going to pick it up from its resting place, go slow only pressure is holding it in. Step 5. Move the board to the other side of it's holder (closer to body when assembled) Step 6. Put the to halves back together checking to make sure the PCB is where we want it( its going to have a little play but it will be solid when the guitar is reassembled. Step 7. Reattach neck to body. This is going to be a very tight fit go slow but it will lock. Step 8. 5 Star 'Through The Fire and Flames' on Expert... Hope this helps out someone, but remember, this is at YOUR OWN RISK. BTW for those that are sketchy with warranties, the VOID IF REMOVED sticker is on the body not the neck. | ||
