That shot of Jeter is amazing.....and I hate Jeter and the Yankees

The little things I can see in this pictures make me totally want this game even more.
  • Batting helmets are spot on.
  • There are real, rendered batting gloves on the batters hand. Not just a black texture or so...
  • "cloth physics" to accurately show cloth movement during running, jumping, sliding, etc... (improved upon from NBA2K6 and College Hoops 2K6)
  • Little things, like the Reds logo on the side of 3rd base are nice

[*]things I dont' like so (very few)
  • Playing field looks, flat and dull...
  • 3rd base umpire is wearing a mask,

Those screenshots look amazing! They almost make me want to play this game (almost)...that's saying an awful lot: i really don't like sports games, but, man, this one sure does look pretty

Ever do a match up for the Superbowl or World Series with the actual teams and players and see who wins? With graphics like that, how can you distinguish between the game and "the game"?

I am with NCXCstud with this one. I love the 2k sports games not only for there amazing graphics but for there gameplay and stats inovation every year. They have come a long way. The screens are impressive, but I think the actual game will look better. Every screen shot that I saw of Ghost Recon I thought looked really good, but when I finally saw the game in action on a nice TV it was overwhelming. This game has the potential to be the best looking game out there. They just need to work on there grass and dirt textures!
