Just bought my first X-Box...

Just bought my first X-Box the other day with the following games...

CounterStrike
Ghost Recon
Ghost Recon II
Ghost Recon: Thunder Island

Just wondering what you folks think are the best games for the X-Box (I've got Halo and Halo II coming soon). I really don't like sports games of any kind, but rather strategy, FPS, and the like.

The Splinter Cell series are actually very good on the XBOX. My other favorites are...

Knights of the Old Republic I and II
Fable
ESPN NFL 2K5 (I know you dont' like sports games, but man...is that game beautiful and fun

I just bought the first Splinter Cell for PS2 at GameStop last Saturday for $6.99 (guarenteed), plus I've got it on the PC.

I did pick up the original Halo, though (and I've got that on PC, too).

Got a friend at work that's nuts over the sports games but he's only got a PS2. I don't know...I just can't get into sports games for some reason.

I've heard great stuff about Beyond Good and Evil. Also, if you haven't already checked out the Prince of Persia games on other systems, they're some of the most fulfilling games released in the past few years and would be at the very least worth renting.

I just wanted to add my two cents....

God of War for the PS2 is an amazing game. Graphically and Gameplay.
I have beat this game twice......THE ONLY GAME I HAVE EVER BEAT TWICE. I usually dont play a game again once i have beat it, but this has been the only exception.
If you have a PS2 definitly rent this one, it is along the lines of a Prince of Persia game.

Ninja Gaiden and Jade Empire are my faves for XBox, check em out.
