Ok folks its 1:45am here. I of all people just purchased Halo 3. I know this whole time I have been giving it hell about how much I hate it. But it was a funny story.

The night started off at a local sports bar. My fellow friends/co-workers went out for some drinks and to play Golden Tee 2008. The night ended a little tipsy and we decided to head over to walmart so we can get some grub to throw on the grill. Low and behold we see the Halo 3 event going on and it was still kicking at 1:30am with news crews and kids crying. Drunk ass PHLAK thought I would get into the game too. I got my copy with official WALMART/HALO3 dog tags. STRIPPED down to my boxers put the dog tags on and proceeded to follow the lady with my game to the front of the store to pay for it. I was laughing, crying, screaming like I hit the lottery. The news crew filmed me and the manager greeted me upfront with my clothes. He laughed and said he would give me the security tape and told me to have a good night! So guess I am about to try the Halo game out and possibly share my embarrassment of my night with you all. Its Monday night....maybe I should also check into an AA group???

I forgot I posted this last night. What the hell was I thinking? I sitting here at my desk laughing but realizing how retarded I was last night. WOW......Anyways so far I am happy with the game. I played it a while this morning.

Seminary has severely depleted any 'extra' cash my wife and I had...

though, my friend who works for Gamestop doesn't enjoy the halo series, and got the game for free...once he beats the game I'll probably get it from him

I love when September rolls around and the annual Gamestop conference comes and goes. I usually get what my friend doesn't want . Though, the guy forgot that I didn't have Blue Dragon and he already had it...grr..oh well

Yeah, the guy at my local gamestop said that they get all of their games as "research" and writes it off in taxes. The only stipulation is that they can't ever ebay anything from there.

I played it today on a friend's Xbox. I really kind of feel like it's just Halo 2.8. New weapons, new enemies, updated graphics (but not wildly updated graphics), but so far (3 levels into it) no real noticeable change to the Halo2 feel we've gotten comfortable with
