| Microsoft has addressed this 'rumor.' Basically saying that they are 'experimenting' with HDMI I'd look for v2.0 to come out sometime next holiday season... | ||

| V_Z - Rumors abound that it will, but I doubt it. HDMI and a larger HDD (especially when M$ will more then likely release the HDD as a seperate purchase as well...) don't cut-off the early adopters in anyway. This XBOX360 v2.0 doesn't bother me in the slightest....it's an upgrade, but not a substantial one. However, if it included a HD-DVD drive as well...and a majority of games started coming out on HD-DVDs then I'd be pissed, real pissed. I wouldn't expect Microsoft to do something that stupid....they aren't SEGA...even though the guy running the MSGames division also was one of the top guys, Peter Moore, for the SEGA Dreamcast.... | ||

| A new hard drive will be released when their IPTV service debuts during the Holiday 2007 season, thats my speculation, but I'm almost positive one will come out then....or they'll finally let us use our computers as hard drives...I'd rather have that... I've got 250+ GBs of free space on that thing...I wouldn't have to buy a new hard drive .Until then, the little drive works fine for me..I've never had a space problem in over a year of use. | ||

get it at bestbuy with a warrenty, and then trade it in anytime you want for a new one :geek: just might have a few weeks in there to allow for shipping of the console and getting your gift card to buy a new one...

What about overly inflated prices? The only tru props I can give to Bestbuy, is their plethora of sexy lady cashiers. :blush1: Thats how they sell them magazine subscriptions.

| LOL. I don't buy anything but DVDs and Videogames from best buy. Everything else is online . They ALWAYS have what I want in stock. In fact, word on the street is that Lost Planet on the XBOX 360 is selling out...fast...when I purchased my copy around 2PM today, there were literally 30 copies of the regular, and 15 of the Collector's (I got the CE). BeastBuy hasn't failed me yet . | ||

I know it would void the warranty, but how large of a hard drive could we put in our own 360 if we wanted?

The XBOX360 has a hard drive attachment...and it's proprietary. I don't think anyone's 'cracked' it yet to include a larger HDD that the 360 can recognize. For what the 360 offers, 20GBs (well...actually 13GBs of useable space) is plenty. I've never come close to filling it all up.
