Default Windows COA error

I reset my bios which reset my date and time. Appearntly windows thinks I have a counterfit COA now because it is giving me a icon that says my copy is not geniune. I just bought this copy a few weeks ago and it is 100% legit. How do I get this stupid icon off. Microsoft sucks.

I have talked to people that have had pirated versions of xp that had called M$ and gotten their windows reactivated. Just call them and chew em out for a while. eventually they will give up and reactivate it for you.

BTW killert you forget that M$ owns the world. I would rather guide a 60 year lady through GUI instead of trying to get her to install a program through tarbell in CLI. WIN A couple clicks and shes done. Linux about 45 mins later and some swearing then done..... Maybe gotta check the Linux forums first. MAC already done just reboot.

Make sure to get a comfy chair and a drink before you get on the horn with MS.
But MLiV is right, call them up and tell them what happened.

Hooray for WGA!

If it's a legit copy give microsoft a call. he should be able to help you sort it all out.

You didn't install the same copy on more than one computer did you?

::EDIT:: Oh BTW killert don't say anything unless it is going to help in someway. It really is starting to get annoying to see the first reply, in alot of threads actually, being by you and it not having anything to do with the problem or solution in any way.

::EDIT2:: Looks like killert deleted his post.

The WGA tool is not very good. I've heard of alot of legit laptops getting flagged by it.

I went over to microsofts support forums and downloaded the newest WGA update and that fixed it. Thank god I didn't have to call microsoft, I hate tech support.
