| It may sound odd, but i want to create a Windows XP Virtual Machine on my current XP system so that i can test new software or try to figure out why the last software was crashing my system! Windows VM should provide this safeguard right? Who has tried it? ( i realise that some would only use this for cross OS set ups) but please share your thoughts! | ||

| Apex Techie I | yeah, VM works very well, suprisingly, for a microsoft product, and yes, it will just freeeze the window, not your whole pc it emultares the bios, vid card and ram, thats it the cpu is in real time, (except dual core, it only uses 1 core), even the nic is in realtime it emulates a s3 8mb gfx card, so the application beteer not be vid card dependent | |
