Boot question....

A quick boot question,

I installed Vista on a partition of my maid HD. After playing around with it I deleted the partition and thus Vista. However the boot menu asking me if I want to run Vista or XP still comes up. How do I kill it.

Edit your boot.ini

Theres also something in the registry, but I forgot where it was.

If you pop your windows disk in and go to the recovery console you can bring up a list of commands, one of them is something lik fix mbr (master boot record), something like that anyways.

Warning: This is just as likely to screw your computer as it is fix the problem. Don't blame me if it goes wrong.

Thanks, I knew it was in the boot.ini file but forgot how to get to it
