Windows Defender wont install

I cant seem to install windows defender, it generates a message that brings me to the system requirment page. Ive done all I can do (I had to install .net I think and the update to windows installer package)

Any suggestions?

Weird - what's your system spec?

Let me ask this.........Do you use a prog to change your startup / Welcome screens?........If you do, that might be the problem.......

Nope

AMD Athlon @2.3Ghz
512MB Ram (3-3-3-6)
Radeon 9600 Pro

The thing is, it worked before I reformated so I think its because I started out clean.

Was it windows defender before you formatted or was it windows anti-spyware?

Windows Defender, they changed from windows anti spyware when you updated the definitions. Windows Anti Spyware doent seem to exsist anymore.

Yeah I know that, was just making sure 'cause since it became defender it made a point of making sure you're copy of xp was genunine.
