Default weird annoying error message

right, I keep getting the following error message:

they appearing in like groups of 20 and keep popping up, I just have to keep pressing "OK" on them as they pop up

so: 1. what are they? 2. how do I get rid of them (will accept solutions for completely ignoring the message or repairing the error )

thanks in advance!

That's a new one on me...

How old is the install?

Windows update current? Could it be a virus?

Have you tried system restore?

Sounds like you might have a bad virus or a file is corrupted, i think it would be in your best interest to do a reformat and complete restore or reload your Operating Systems.

hmm... all of these are possibilities.

I run windows curtains, the install is running on year old now, it's been running so smooth though I haven't felt the need to reformat...
I don't bother with windows updates, I have anti-vir running all the time updates daily, kerio running aswell as hardware firewall on the old zyxel router...

Hmm, was avoiding the reformat but might be time

The weird thing is that it seems to only appear when I look in certain folders, very annoying. And I notice it goes away when I back up and remove a bunch of the files in those directories... meh, I'll try and keep it clean.

Anyone know of a way to disable that error message, seems like an OS error but meh, hard to tell. It tends to lock up explorer until OK is pressed...
