Default Windows server 2003 database

Now i have a smaal network in my house, all of which consists of a few computers i use and my MP3 server then i have three borgs for F@H. My question is, i have a 4 port NIC that is only using the input port for my server and i'm running Windows server 2003 Database edition.

Can i share my internet connection throu Windows and then use this card as a sort of hub, considering I'd only being attaching a feww P2's to it and all there gonna do is Fold?
I don't think it would slow my minute usage of the MP3's on the server.

I dont have a 100% answer for ya but I'll ask my Son-in-Law tonight , he's the networking Guru of the family and should be able to give an answer to your question.

My answer to the question would be yes its possible, but i want to be sure so........

Yes you can do it with internet connection sharing. A $20 switch may be a bit easier though. (I'm sure T2 can find one cheaper...)

Here's the link for the setup instructions from Microsoft.

I think that you may not be able to do it. I did a bit of research and it looks like Server 2003 Datacenter edition does not allow for ICS to be installed. I'm hoping that you may have been mistaken on the edition.

Its 100% stable even with three or four computer playing MP3's off it.
Its only a 950Mhz P3 with 512 SD ram, but it has 1170GB Spanned and Striped
