Default Werid, weird os issue

okay heres the deal

running windows 2000 small business server.....

i have a customer who has a ghost drive appearing.... that is to say that he has a hdd partion that has 2 drive letters assigned to the same partition

how can i assign it to just one? (c and g are being listed) its causing the system to get stuck in a reboot loop if he resets ... for some strange reason the os sees boot files on the g drive and goes crazy.... and last but not least disk manager doesnt see the g drive....

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi\Scsi Port 0\Scsi Bus 0\Target Id 0\Logical Unit Id 0

altho the
"Logical Unit Id 0" varies to 1 or 0 depending on M or S ... (primary channel or secondary) the ghost drive should be there but since is a "glich" just go up one level to the "Target Id"
