XPpro sp2 not detecting the Card reader

I can confirm that it used to work, but recently hte last few months it hasnt, and each time i rebuild it sometimes see's the drives but wont display them in the My Computer screen.

What can i try? The card reader an In-Win CR-i530b is getting power and is found in the bios!

But i cant access it once the OS has booted up!

Its supposed to be viewed in the removable media section of 'My Computer'

Any suggestions?

is it internal or external?? if it is internal... i would check to see that it is set up correctly on the internal usb

Its internal, and it was previously working off the internal USB connection.
