| Apex Tech Maniac | (actually this problem was also present in Windows Professional x64 Edition as well). I was trying to run Xmpeg and for some reason it wouldn't process the VOB files. 4.5 would just crap out after a while and the resulting file size varies. 5.02 wouldn't even start the conversion process. Would that be just a Windows x64 thing or would be a systemic issue? Also, after a while, it said that the xmpeg 4.5 service would not start on Server 2k3. Would that be because the system is inherently locked down initially? Thanks. | |

| check the thread below: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30907 I think about 1/2 way down there's a post with some xmpeg settings that need to be changed if you're getting crashes. The enhanced security features of XP and 2003 shouldn't cause any problems with local processes, they're geared towards net processes. | ||

this is happening during the first pass. *edit* my dual MP2600 is able to run the files just fine. (Running on Windows XP Pro 32-bit) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
