| Alright, i got a copy of Windows XP x64 and i currently have no sound whatsoever. I have been using a Sound Blaster Extigy for my sound, but it seems that there is NO plan to make the Extigy Compatible with x64...do you guys know a work around for this at all? I have a k8NS Ultra-939 motherboard and it comes with a sound card thingy, i was just wary about using that when i already have a sound card...so, whats my best bet? Suck it up and use the onboard sound....or is there a way to get the Extigy to work with it? thanks everyone! | ||

| Alas that is the large drawback to x64... All you can do is write angry letters to your sound card Manfuc. telling them you are testing software in 64bit and blah blah, try to sound like you are doing a noble thing. Cause all they really have to do to get it to work in recompile the software (which takes 5 min) | ||

| i have the same rig and i had trouble finding drivers for 64bit.i just use the onboard sound and wait to see what drivers turn up.it seems like the makers are taking their time with releasing 64 bit drivers.there are some out there, you just have to find them.hope this helps | ||
