Ubuntu OS Anyone?

Got in my free 10 CDs yesterday, and loaded this up on one of my PCs. Playing with it a bit today to see if it is any good, or not.

Has anyone else tried this Linux OS? Seems pretty nice so far, and best of all it was FREE! One very cool thing is on the jacket of each disk: "You are legally entitled and encouraged to copy, share and redistribute this CD for yourself and your friends."

I know Piscikeeper is running Ubuntu....along with 12 or more "other" distro's.

you can also install the gimp on a windows machine from the live cd.i think it also includes firefox,thunderbird,audacity,OO.org,and a few more.since it's debian based the old joke still works......"apt-get moo"

just a few repository edits and you have a full sid install.

Duplex Emotions runs it I think and also check with Elitelilnoyd I think they both run it!

Thanks for the replies all. It seems to be a touch on the slow side, but so far I like it.
