Got locked down from my pc....

I was surfin around the dirty sites, and out of nowhere the IE closed. Then when I tryed to open up another window, it wouldn't open. Then I noticed all the icons on my desktop, had no names under them. I tried to run a spyware cleaner, and it froze. THEN I rebooted, and it wont let me click my user name (i'm the only one who uses the pc) to type in my pw. Help? lol >-<

geez--lots of questions there. hopefully the site was really good---lol. but try to start it up in safe mode then run that stuff. press f8 after the computer post--i.e. shows system information and that will bring you to a screen to start it up in safe mode

Not working- Im running WindowBlinds if that helps. When I tell it to boot in safe mode, I still get stuck at the user login screen. No names or boxes show up.

dunno then--if you cant get into safe mode its windows repair/reformat time

I'm gonna assume you already tried a virus scan?

This is why I always either boot into Linux or start the PCcillin WebTrap when I surf questionable sites.

I just gave up and reformatted. I was wondering, since I vow to never bother with a site like that again, whats a good Anti-Virus/Spyware program to use? To protect myself from future crap.
