![]() | k i had a 30 Gb Harddrive but when i installed windows xp it gave me these options...it says ''Format The Partition using the..... 1)NTFS File system(Quick) 2)FAT File system(quick) 3)NTFS File system 4)FAT file system 5)Convert The Partition to NTFS Leave The Current File system intact(no changes)'' i think i put NTFS file system and my harddrive went from a 30 GB to a 10 GB and the same thing went with my other hdd it went from a 20 GB to a 10 i just now bought a new Harddrive 120 GB and i wanted to know whice option am i suppsed to choose so it wont go from a 120 GB to a 10 GB please help thanks alot for your time

![]() | just go with NTFS! anything over 6 gb is usually good for NTFS, i have a 8.4 WD IDE ATA 133 hdd running for my main os and its NTFS and it works great! Last edited by stereomod; 24-December-04 at 07:44 AM. Reason: spelling |
