Default SuSe Linux and Windows XP pro

I have a Western Digital 80gig hard drive with windows XP as a primary master. I have a Maxtor 20gig with the SuSe linux distro installed, as a secondary master.

How do I get it to have an option of which OS to boot from? I am new to Linux, and to dual OS's .

Do I have to modify the Boot.Ini file? If so how do I do it.

Help is appreciated, thanks.

There is actually a way around it, I can't remember how but I know if you put your Linux boot loader(which ever one your using) on the primary drive you can set it so it reads your linux distro on your secondary also. If you use IRC go on there and go on the server chatjunkies.org and go to the room linuxhelp someone in there could help you. And remember don't log onto IRC as root.

Ya that is pretty pimp. That IRC chatroom is great for linux newb's, that where I learned most of things I do about linux, I'd give that a shot and see if anyone can help ya.

If you use LILO or GRUB you can edit the conf files and add the second os to it. Since your still new, I would say that LILO is easier to configure. I say this because LILO uses the same naming scheme as Linux while grub uses a slightly different syntax. If you are using Windows boot manager, you should probably switch. You can install the boot loader to the MBR which will let you select between the oses.
