   |  Windows system restore Alright just of recently, around midnight, I was browsing my computer and felt like watching fight club, which i had borrowed from a friend and ripped to my computer. I go into my documents, archives, and my video folder has completely disappeared. I check my recycle bin to find it empty. So I try going to system restore, a feature which i have to use far too often in windows. And the only restore it will show me is one from 2 minutes before i noticed that my movies were gone. I've found some hard drive repair things that supposedly recover lost files, and its found the movies, but it cant get the data. All it has is the file -- 0 k/b. I'd like to see if i could possibly restore the restore point and then restore my pc. If anyone knows the extension or where its located in the windows folder, itd be much appreciated.
