| I was using my home computer the other day and all of a sudden it is slow as crap i cant do anything. I boot up and after that nothing works because it is so slow none of my apps can open. I did not knowingly download anything prior to this happening. I went from Win ME to Win XP Home with the upgrade version of the software. I did adjust my page file memory size to try and fix the problem. Anyone know whats going on?? My new rig still has a ways to go before its finished so right now im stuck with no computer and i have to be careful about using the computers at work. I just need to know whats going on. | ||

| You may also want to run msconfig to make sure no traces of trojans or spyware are still trying to load at startup. I happened to think of this one day at work last week (we got a virus back in December and I got rid of it but a stupic popup box kept opening when windows loaded because it was looking for a file that was deleted. I unchecked the box in the startup tab in msconfig and haven't had the problem since. | ||
