Exclamation Help!!!!

Ok this will be the 5th time this month I have reinstalled, i need to know how to stop my computer from getting the ms blast virus. I reinstalled my computer about a week ago, im here watching my Dave Chappel episodes..my computer is running fine. I install newer ATi driver..my computer restarts then all the sudden RPC shutdown blah blah 56 seconds..soo I "shutdown -a" so im wondering how the hell...after all this time...just randomly..after every restart things are getting worse, I can't even go on msn, there is 140 processes in the manager...now im going to reistall again...HOW THE HELL DO I STOP MY COMPUTER FROM GETTING THIS CRAP!!!

There is something like 2 million computers with this msblast thing and I cant find **** on how to remove or protect myself from it

Installing SP1 is not an option, if anyone can send my links where i can download updates so I can burn to cd then install from cd after an install without my pc connected to the internet.

Im this close " " to buying a mac

What you need is a BlasterWorm "antidote"--you can get it from MS. I'll find you a linkie.

ADD:
OK, here's the removal tool:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com...oval.tool.html

And here are security updates:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

For removal, follow the instructions on the Symantec website; then apply updates.

You need all the patches from MS. That will help. A firewall too, make sure the firewall in windows is enabled.

In the future, make sure you do those blaster patches before you go online to get more patches though.

Why not d/l AutoPatcher? It's big and I think it may require you d/l and install SP1 as well, but at least that way it's all compiled into two downloads instead of 137 pieces.
