     |  REM tag problems... Some dumbass wrote a REM tag into this install of 98 that precludes changing any optical/HDD type devices. So, when I put a DVD/CDRW in it, it refuses to see the drive. Any suggestions?

| We're reinstalling Windows. It was set up on a proprietary, use our stuff or no work policy. The store that did it is out of business now because of it.
