Default Installing Windows on D:

Hey Everyone,

I have a question. I accidentally installed XP on the D partition instead of C, which is located on the HDD first. Is this going to create a problem? Thanks.

The only problem I can think of that you might run into is that you may have to change from C: to D: in some program installers.

I did the same thing a while back, installed to E:, and that was my only issue.

Yup, as long as BIOS is set to boot off the D: partition, you should be ok. Program installers will be the only issue.
