| Apex Elite Tech | Okay, I have a server. I share files at lan parties and I want a READ ONLY guest account. I also want an account in my name that has all access, (read/write/full control). I have the accounts set up, but I can't get the username and password prompt to show up on hte client computer. How do I get that to show up so that I can log in to the server as either a guest (no password), or me,(passworded). It just tells me that I can't access the network directory, and to contact the system admin to see if I have proper permissions. It never asks me to log in. Any help appreciated. Both machines are running windows XP pro....thanks.
