| My bro dropped his comp off at my house infroming that his ie was not working propely.... He has an university bought dell with xp pro with service pack 1 , 2.4c ,512mb dual ddr 3200, intergrated vedeo, network , and sound, and some 30 gig hardrive Well anyway everything is runnig fine.... except when u try to open ie it just pops up with the xp ( windows has enconutered an problem and needs to close box ) it can access the internet via wheatherbug and updates for his viruse protection ie just craches evrytime u access it im scanning right now for viruses but he has kept up to date on his virus software and his comp is clean of spyware ... i was thinking about using the sytem restore disk but i think the porblem is easier to fix than having to reformat ..... if any of u have heard of a problem like this i would be vary grateful for ur input -thx Nrk | ||

| Why not just restore from an earlier date? (Start --> Programs --> Accessories -> System Tools --> System Restore) take a snapshot before you do a restore, then pick a restore date from before this problem started happening, and go from there. That way you don't have to reformat the damn thing. | ||

| Just dont use it any more. There are plenty of other great browser's out there. Mozilla Firefox Avant Browser Those are just a few of the most popular. | ||
