expiring password

When windows boots it says my password will expire in 10 days do i want to change my password now?
the only thing is its been a week and its still 10 days.
and ideas?
winxp pro.

That's the first obvious question; the second is "Is it a copy you _can_ activate?"

Open Computer Management (Right-click My Computer, click Manage) then click Local Users, click Users, then double-click your user name and check the properties there.
