Default explorer keeps crashing ????

ahhhhhh i'm gonna go insane
my explorer.exe keeps crashing for no reason
like ateast 5 times a day
usually it happens when I goto open a folder it will just crash
but it reloads itself right away

its just so annoying and i have no idea why its doing that

any thoughts?


winxp, 512mb ram, abit nf7-s 2.0
all current winupdates & bios + drivers

it is also possible that one of the Windows updates caused this. It happened to me after an update several months ago (I wish I could remember which update). Fortunately, it happened while updating a fresh install so I didn't have TOO much time wrapped up in reformatting and such.
