Windows Changed My P/W

Ok so yesterday morning I was using my computer and everything and it was working great. Logged in with no problems fraged some n00bs, hung out on PR then went to work. Like usual I lock my computer (because my father likes to play with my computer which therfore loses more F@H power). Anyways, I get back from work and try to log in and nothing. So i type in my p/w again, nope. So I try again this time typing it one key at a time. Still nothing, so I have to login in as the admin (which btw the p/w wasnt changed) go into control panel and change my p/w so I could finally login. Im stumped on this one why would winblows change my p/w without telling me?

your dad stuck a key logger on your kb and changed it for you?

I highly doubt that windows changed your password. Perhaps Evil is right about your dad hacking in and changing you password. Or maybe someone remotely. Or you just kept hitting all the wrong letters.

Do you have your account set up where if your password is mistyped so many times in a row it will disable the account?

No i dont have that option turned on. I highly doubt my father as the capability to "hack" into my computer. He's a smart man and everything but not when it comes to comptuers.

not a chance in hell. After about 3 trys he would give up. He's not a fan of failure.

i think that xp atleast has a 2 week password deal where it changes your password every two weeks but i think you need to set that up
but i could be thinking of red hat

Well i knew that if you had it setup windows would tell you that your p/w was expired and needed to be re-entered, but other then that i didnt know it would do this.
