I dont think you will have to reinstall it but you will have to reactivate it. Use this program to get your win cd key since you lost it http://ssrleague1.homestead.com/files/keyfinder.zip

| H.A.L.O.-Hoe | Yes you will have to reinstall windows for a couple of reasons.. One you are changing from amd to intel.. Two you are changing mobos and probably ram.. You really need to do a fresh install but most likely you will have to anyways..

![]() | Ok... I know before someone was saying that if you changed mobos and reinstalled windows you would be prompted to call Microsoft help desk to let them know... Then I thought I read somewhere online that you didnt have to.... I am sure it will prompt me to call.... Anyone else know for sure?? |

![]() | I just did what you want to do twice in the last two days and I had to reinstall xp each time in the past I have done it and it has worked but not this time I got the blue screens of death each time back up your important things I was ok because most of my data lives either on seperate drives or on a partition edit: mine didn't prompt but mines xp pro home will prompt you |

| Freck-hoe-d | Not sure about home but with Pro it wont ask. There is a file you can remove in the config setup so that when you install the new stuff it will still work. But I strongly advise for the best performance do a fresh install. Unless you like horrible load times a lag that would eat you for breakfest.
