Default winXPpro chkdsk
windows runs chkdsk every time i start up on my d: drive. and weather i skip it or not, defrag wont let me defrag d: it always says "Disk Defragmenter has detectedt that ChkDsk is scheduled to run on the volume: DATA(D. please run chkdsk /f"
when i try it says it will scheduel it for next boot.

what do i do?

chkdsk /r /f d:

Run chkdsk with those commands and the flag that is causing the repeated scan should be removed. It will take quite some time to run.
