| Apex Tech Fanatic | Does it shut off fully if you press the power button after Windows shuts down? I remember on some older computers my school used to have, Windows would shut down but in order to turn the computer off, you had to press the power button. There may be a setting in BIOS that specifies to do this or not. Check it out.

If its the computer that he has listed the specs for in his signature, this is not the case.

| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | .........unless the acpi settings are dorked.with it being random, i doubt it though.may want to have a look at the power settings under system properties though.(and bios) you may want to try disconnecting the power switch from the mobo and shutting it down.....it may be going bad and sticking in the on position making it act like an old at mobo.
