I can't remember the exact procedure in Vista, but the only really clean way you are going to do this is to create a new user with the name you want and to copy the settings over to this new account from the old one. You CAN change the account name through the administration tools all day long, but the folders retain their original name, so you'll always see 'Office Depot'. This is why I suggest creating a new account and copying the settings/files. d | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Can you just rename the C:\Users\Office Depot\ folder to something else? Or create a new folder under C:\Users and move the contents to the new folder? Here's why I think that might work: I use a small 74GB Raptor as my boot drive, and that wasn't big enough to hold my Music folder. So I simply used Windows Explorer to move the Music folder from its default location, C:\Users\FunkyFresh\, to a new location on my secondary hard drive. Windows took care of updating all the existing pointers/shortcuts to the Music folder (like on the Start menu); all I did was a cut-and-paste. | ||
