Dreamweaver crashing all the time

my OS is Vista 32bit

When im using DW8, and trying to (in HTML mode) insert pics , it keeps closing and I have to reopen. At most i can do two pics before this happens............. any idea's/clues

Never had to troubleshoot this type of thing before

hows that go ............. when all else fails , check the manufacturer's web site for troubleshooting
