I've got an OEM copy of Vista (32-bit Home Premium). I've called them up to
re-activate numerous times already (more than 2). I guess I could just be
special, but I doubt it. But I am annoying at times :-)

youre right but here software piracy on not prosecuted on punished so you can even buy bootlegged software online... as for the goverment the are moving all their software platform over to linux...

I am in the same boat as most of you. I have Vista home Premium on my laptop. Recently I had the bright idea of installing AIM and it completely screwed up my system. So i did a reformat and tried to install XP. That failed horribly, so i had to go back to vista. When the registration time came, it accepted my code but a few days later it brought up a prompt that said the key was invalid. I havent lost Aero and everything is working just fine. But every day i get that same damned message telling my key is no good. I just ignore it. If it deactivates completely then I WILL go to Fedora 8. permanently.
