Default No Color

I recently noticed that my T.V Tuner had no color but i thought it was the tuner but then i tried some videos on Windows Media player but..NO COLOR!!!!!.Everything else has color tho and Windows Media player has color when i play music but my T.V Tuner and Videos have no color.I've tried googling but can't find a solution
Any suggestion???

Im not sure what exactly you've tried
I am assuming you are getting these troubles with a GeForce 8600, or any other GeForce series card. Have you checked in the graphics card's control panel, I think it's the video overlay section? try restoring the default settings.
Im quite sure that windows media player uses DirectX for audio visualizations. quite a few graphics cards have video proccessing capabilities built in, which allows them to process some, or all of the video off of the CPU, freeing up some resources.
so yeah, that's my guess, check the video settings

EDIT: sorry, I think the section I mean to be talking about is called "Adjust video colour settings"

I have been to the Nvidia Control Panel and restored Factory defualts and looked through all the setting but still no luck i have the latest drivers ill just do a clean format and see how it goes

Were you not just having bsod in vista. Seems like those were
nv4_mini.sys errors. Sounds like your card is about to die.
