Default move programs installed on D:/ to work with C:/?

alright, i have my C drive and my D drive. i had my OS drivers and other stuff that couldnt be installed on the D drive. all the rest of the programs are on my D drive. i recently upgraded to vista, but i dont wanna have to uninstall all my programs and games and have to reinstall them on the same drive. is there a way i can get my C drive to pick up the programs on the D drive? some of my programs work, but other programs that have things like regestry and other things installed on the C drive also dont work. i still have my other drive with windows xp and everything still installed in there.

I think that you would actually have to create the registry entries for those programs and I'm not sure if you can do that. You'd be better off reinstalling them.

eascarface is right, you could copy the registry keys over, but its no guarantee it will work. Definitely just reinstall the apps.

Yeah it will be far easier and less time consuming in the long run just to re-install everything, theres no telling what issues could arrise if you just copy the registry entries.
