| So here at work we use Outlook 2003 (not by my choice I assure you) Recently one of my coworkers computers decided to stop automatically retrieving emails form the server when in Outlook. She also lost her alerts (the little square that pops up when you have a new message) I have tried the repair function...and reinstalling with no luck. Even if I set the auto send/receive function to one min it sits there and does nothingI have had this problem before but really can remember how I fixed it.... I did just install/setup our new domain controler so I will be putting employes on the domain as I find time. I was thinking of putting her on there to see if that would help as a new profile with fresh settings will be created and might bring outlook back to a default and working state.... but just in case I missed something....you guys got any ideas. Thanks (for helping me do my job lol ) | ||

| I would look into her windows profile, I know Outlook puts most of the preferences in the application data folder. I would try backing up the Outlook folder in there and deleting it. Then let outlook recreate that folder, or just recreate her windows profile. | ||
