Default My new pimp-ass server/XP question

Well today at work there were two Intel server towers, and holy crap, they have 4 Pentium 133's in one, and 4 P166's in my buddy's. Mine has 256 MB of EDO SIMM, has a 15.3 GB and a 980 MB SCSI HDD, NT 4.0, tape back-up, back in the day this was the shiznit!! Even PS2 connectors, this is a full-on server, has a door on the front, key lock, ok enough bragging, here's the big question. Will XP Pro support more than two processors? Will ME? I'm hoping ME will, it's not as processor intensive as XP Pro.

BTW do I hold like a PR record now for most processors in a system LOL

Win 9x only supports one cpu. Win XP Pro supports 2.

Well, first off, just check the system requirements for WinXP Home or Pro.

It needs a 300MHz or higher proc. And that HDD is not big enough to hold it anyway.

Im not sure if the multiprocs would help meet the the speed requirements much for XP in this situation, and I do not believe ME will support multiprocs either. Win 2k would though.

Why not use it like it is......with NT?

It's bogged down with so many programs I just wanna wipe it and re-install. And for some reason I can't see it on the network.
