| 5-Hoe-1 Jeans | So I had some problems a while back and tried to do a repair install of windows, only for it to freeze during the install. So I just went ahead and did a clean windows installation to a different folder on the same drive. The older installation is borked as far as I can tell, but the application data's all still there. So what I want to do here is get all my old application data or at least thunderbird mails and opera bookmarks etc. onto my new installation. While I've seen some ways of doing this from a google that entailed creating a new username exacly like the old one, but on my new install I'm using my administrator account (yeah, not the best thing to do, but I prefer it) instead of the single user login I used on my last installation (where all the data was). Any ideas of how I can do this? |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Can't you use the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard? Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Thunderbird files and settings can be backed up using BackupFox and for Opera .... Backup Opera EDIT: I think I misread and these programs wont help you. Here are the manual ways to backup settings. Opera Thunderbird
