I bought AVG Pro and I couldn't get it to install with the file they linked me
to download. I had to download an updated version (ver 7.5.448). I went
here :-)

sorry to say this but theres a module that AVG will not allow nero to install properly ...
even after a couple of twaks in the system folder, if you do manage to install it, it wont do so
properly ... you will get that naggy screen asking you to reinstall it properly each time you start nero
not to mention that it wont record audio files properly when making a music CD ....
i know nero is great but your best bet is to install Roxio .... (CS 8, im not so sure about 9)

I gave up on AVG in Vista and installed Avast instead.

I'm with Relux on this one... during the time I put up with Vista, Avast was a simple and hassle-free install... on the other hand, I've had nothing but problems trying to get AVG to run on ANY 64-bit platform.
