Default Broken Video Card or Heatsink?

Right now my monitor is completely messed up, the whole screen is horribly tinted yello and I can barely read. I have 2 evga 6800gt's running in sli and they have been running like this for months. I checked the temp and it says the core temp. is 80C!!! Could that be the reason its flipping out? And should I just throw a heatsink on it? Im going to let it sit off overnight to cool down and if it works fine in the morning I guess all I have to do is buy a heatsink for them. Thanx

P.S. The heatsinks on them right now are stock and I do not overclock.

ok, so this is wierd. I left it off over night and booted it up, even from the bios it was still messed up. So when Windows booted up I unplugged the dvi cable from my computer and plugged it back in, it went back to normal. So i started doing stuff but 5 min. later it went back to bad. Luckily I have an old LCD laying around. I plugged it in, and it is completely normal!!! I also switched dvi cables just to make sure it wasn't that. I'm really confused b/c it looks like my new lcd monitor is broken but when i bring up the monitor's menu to change conrast and what not, that menu is normal and doesn't have the screwed up color. What the hell is wrong?!?!?! Thanx

It may just be that your DVI cable is falling loose.
