Default S-Video Out ATI 9000 Pro help

I have an ATI 9000 Pro and using Win XP. Ive got the S-Video out going to my HDTV. The display on the TV is in Black & White and it continually moves vertically like its out of sync. Ive tried other refresh rates but nothing helps. The display on my PC monitor remains fine.

In Device manager, should I have two video cards listed even though Im only trying to set up the TV as a clone? Right now I only have one active video card under device manager.

Any Suggestions?
As we all know ATI customer support sucks ass!

That is not your computers fault at all.
Adjust the V-Hold and other settings on the TV set to stabilize picture. !

Where do you adjust V Hold on a brand new TV. I haven't seen a V Hold adjust on my TV. Every other input works fine on my TV, are you sure you are right?

If the TV set is black and white, it must have a set of V & H controls somewhere on it.

I have never seen or heard a video card have output like that, check the display settings for the TV in the ATi Control Panel/Displays/

I don't think it is a B&W tv ....... I think it is just displaying B&W.

You didnt make it clear that the TV was a actually color and that it is only displaying B&W when coming from your video card. I presumed and did so wrongly.
I'd try the drivers on the CD that came with it, and if that doesnt resolve the B&W and unstable vertical hold; RMA the card.

I have the same S- Video problem with my Gforce4 Mx420, I only see a black and white output on my 32 inch color TV. Never have found a way to fix that either
I think it may have something to do with the resolution, not sure how to adjust the TV resolution, and I don't even now if thats possible.
If the desktop is at 1024X768 and the TV is at 800X600 (or even lower) won't that cause issues?

You probably already did this but just to make sure,

Did you change the settings in the displays tab (ATI), in the video card menu?

It could be a bad cable, s-video splits up the colors, try a different cable. I know my dad got a 201 disc dvd changer from best buy cheap because they were testing it with a bad s-video cable that only displayed black & white.
