Default Power via molex vs PCI-e?

Well....I bought a 7800GT last month and got to installing it earlier this month, I went around XFX and it turns out I was shipped the wrong version of the card, I have the black PCB version(and what looks like a Cu HS) with a molex power connector. I ordered what looked like the reference ver with a PCI-e power connector. I e-mailed XFX and they are offering me a replacement since I had ordered the other one originally. My question to you is: Is PCI-E power more stable/efficient than the molex, or should I just not worry about it and keep the version I already have? Basically, would I be better off with PCI-E / Al HS(not sure if they switched to Cu or not) or Molex / Cu HS?

Thanks
-RRW

I personally would go with Cu / Molex, based on the fact alone it's copper. If you have a good power supply then it shouldn't matter, but I'd go with the Molex just to be safe I'd have plenty of power for the card.

If i'm not mistaken, PCI-E power connectors have more stable power because of more wiring.

PCI-E just has more wires and more ground = more stable power! Go with the PCI-E its time to leave molex in the past anyways!! You are upgrading not down grading
