Default Best Card Under 250

Ok what would be the best PCI-EXPRESS video card I could get for 250?
I have been looking on newegg but there are so many GT, SG, XL, XT's I
dont realy know what im geting.


Any recomendations? I have a X700 PRO 256 right now

Since it sounds like you've already done some looking at NE...

I would be looking at core and mem clock speeds listed in each one's specs. That can give you an idea of what they bring to the table.

There won't be a whole lot of difference between cards of the same chipset, so if you can save a couple bucks by getting a base model instead of the GT, and their speeds were not that much different, I'd say spend them elsewhere... But that's just me...

Well would would you personaly pick?

and yea I have been looking at newegg but cant make my mind up.

Since you already have an ATI, you will already have the ATI drivers installed, no need for Driver Cleaner.

As far as price and clock speeds go, the screenie I attached would be the two I would go with, IF I were looking to buy another GPU anytime soon.

Newegg.com is selling a kicka** EVGA 6800GS, which is premium power for a non premium cost, for $199.99 plus free 3-day shipping. You could save the extra money for some mods or other hardware.
