ATI x300se problem

PC will only turn on using the Svideo output. it will not use my primary monitor. when the svideo cable is removed, i dont get any video untill windows loads, then my primary display will work. any ideas how to get my primary display to work from start up so that i can get into my bios settings without using a television?

Have you tried the basic remove old driver and use the newest one?

yea i've tried that.....still doesnt work. i think it may be my LCD display. i plugged mt old CRT in and it started right up no prob. the PC probably isnt reconizing it untill windows starts.

Check the TV output settings in the ATI display control panel, and make sure the TV is NOT set as the defaut monitor.
