![]() | Hi everybody. I have a Radeon 9600 Pro with a defect d-sub connector. I just want to know - is it possible to replace the d-sub itself? I know dude thats great with soldering and that kind of stuff, i have no doubt that he could do it. Only thing is - will it work? And if so will any d-sub work? Cheers |

| Sir Knight of Spamalot | Absolutly NOT. A PCB can have many Layers. Your better off RMAing the card.

![]() | Damn.. Actually its not completely defect - it works - you just have to sit for a few hours to get the angle completely right when you insert the cable and it then it works.. bummer.. And no RMA anymore.. Last edited by RolandIronfist; 30-November-05 at 01:07 AM. |
