I'm not a gamer but I'm sure this is messed up.Anytime I get in a game after a few minutes or less the monitors just go black like the power cord was unpluged. Then they come back on but no game.Have to restart.Wassup with this?

Love to help, but how about some PC specs, game that is causing the issue and what you have tried so far. That will help us to better help you.

If you have an ATI card, it sounds like you are getting a VPU Recover. This can be caused by a number of things, including overheating video card, or an over-overclocked video card.

If its battlefield 2 then you probably don't need to worry...that game just crashes to desktop occasionally....but I just can't stop playing it...

This has been hapening to my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Ultimate.. The fan on my card speeds up to overcome the heat thats being processed while under heavy usage. Listen carefully when gaming for along time and you might hear your card making a grinding noise.. I just recently repositioned my heatsink and everything has been running fine.

I agree with TDR, and if there are any mem chips that are naked/uncovered, you could slap some BGA RAMsinks on them... Possibly replace the stock RAM sinks as well...

Got some pics?

Could also be your power supply, but they usually just give you a BSOD instead of just going black.

To see if its and overheating issue, remove the side panel and use a small house fan to blow in fresh air while gaming.
