Default OmegaDrivers Support 340m?

Alright, so I want to put the omegadrivers on my laptop. It has an Integrated Radeon 340m gpu. Looking over OD's website it says that it supports "all radeon mobility (m6 and up)" what im trying to figure out is did the 340m come after or before the m6. Looking on the ati website didnt help. Havnt been able to find to much about the m6. Thanks pimprigers

If ATI's Catalyst drivers will work with your chipset, the Omega drivers will work too.

Sometimes you have to modify a drivers ini file so that it thinks it supports your card. This was the case with my geforce 2 mx pci and it works flawlessly ( well almost anyway, any probs I've had haven't been related to the drivers, touch wood)

I'll post up an example or a link at some stage when I can dig one out. It might be exactly what your looking for..

Havnt tried them yet. Im afraid im if i install them and the 340m doesnt recognize them then im not going to be able to get back into windows to uninstall them.

you can always just use F8 during boot and enter VGA mode if something goes awry, there, you can uninstall them or even install working drivers.

I wish they'd begin supporting nVidia cards again.

I'm 99% sure this won't be an issue for him as if his card isn't supported then I doubt even windows will let him install the drivers unless he gets really determined about it.

Looking forward to your update dude.

Hi I am new to these forums. Here is my question I also have a 340m on my laptop. I was wondering if there is any way to get playable frame rates in World of Warcraft I am avg about 8fps. I have a Gig of RAM.Since I have 1 gig of Ram and My video is shared I would figure could give the card at least 128mb. If anyone can help me that would be Awesome.

Can you post the link where to get the omega drivers maybe that will help me also.
